Somalia: Puntland soldier kills three colleagues in Galgala shooting

GALGALA, Somalia, November 2, 2015 (Garowe Online)-A shooting by Puntland government soldier has left three others dead on the frontline in restive Galgala on Monday, Garowe Online reports.

Security officials say, investigations are underway after the soldier opened fire and instantly killed three troops for unknown reasons.

The attacker himself has been gunned down on the same scene for fear of further casualties.

Despite frantic investigation in Bossaso Port City, where the four bodies were brought, Puntland government has not publicly commented on the deadly shooting.

The northeastern state has been battling Al Shabaab militants in sporadic clashes in Galgala and other hideouts along Golis Mountain Range.
