Somalia: Govt lauds close cooperation with Somaliland administration

MOGADISHU, Somalia - The Federal Government of Somalia [FGS] lauds the move by President Musa Bihi to engage in close cooperation with the Federal Government.

The FGS considers this move a progressive step in the right direction and applauds President Bihi ‘s commitment in this regard. The FGS pledges to ensure this cooperation yields tangible results.

At the same time, the Federal Government of Somalia recognizes the tireless efforts of Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed as he seeks to fast track the economic integration of the Horn of Africa region, spearheaded by Somalia, Ethiopia, and Eritrea.

The Federal Government of Somalia supports all efforts that seek to strengthen talks on cooperation and creating the conducive environment for the stability and prosperity of the region.
