MOGADISHU, Somalia, July 27, 2015(Garowe Online)-Federal Government of Somalia’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Abdisalan Omar Hadliye said, Al Shabaab attack on Jazeera hotel will not have any effect on diplomatic missions in Mogadishu on Monday, Garowe Online reports.

Somalia Foreign Minister told reporters that diplomats arriving in the country don’t need to be worried about security situation, a day after militants killed Chinese diplomat in truck bomb attack.

“The blast was un-Islamic, it was inhumane attack and we send our condolences to the families of those killed,” Hadliye said in remarks to the media.

“Somalia will move forward, and it will not be impeded by futile attacks,” he added, assuring international diplomats of safety.

Al Shabaab suicide bomber in a truck packed full of explosives hit a luxury hotel frequented by Somali government officials and foreigners on Sunday afternoon.

Kenyan Ambassador in the hotel was evacuated by African Union forces, with a Chinese diplomat confirmed dead in the terror attack.

Mogadishu is a home to a handful of international missions as Al Shabaab threats are lingering.
