MOGADISHU, Somalia, October 12, 2015 (Garowe Online)-A cargo plane with six people on board has been crash-landed on a paved road between Arbiska bridge and Afgooye after the pilot missed Mogadishu’s Adan Adde International airport runway on Monday evening, Garowe Online reports.

The plane reportedly circled over the airport for nearly an hour.

According to security sources, the airbus A380 landed in front of AMISOM military base, a few kilometers off Mogadishu.

All crew members-said to be six-are reported to have survived.

Conflicting reports initially emerged, with some saying; it was Egyptian cargo plane carrying consignment for African Union peacekeepers.

Somalia’s Federal Government and AMISOM have not commented on the crash-landing near Mogadishu.
