Former Puntland president on his side very much thanked for the welcoming ceremonies by the government and clan elders.
In an interview with BBC Somali Service, Dr. Farole described his week-long stay in Hargeisa ‘personal and family matters’.
“The trip was authorized by the government and it was pre-informed about it. I had been cordially received by elders and government officials,” said former Puntland President.
He also accused Mogadishu-based federal government of re-igniting conflict and territorial disputes in central Somalia, referring to Mudug conundrum.
