President Mohamud was welcomed at Bole International Airport by Ethiopia’s Minister of Revenue, Aynalem Nigussie, and State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Berhanu Tsegaye.

The summit, taking place in the Ethiopian capital, brings together leaders from across the continent to address the growing threat of climate-related disasters and to discuss collaborative approaches to environmental sustainability.

Also arriving Sunday were Tanzanian Vice President Philip Isdor Mpango and Vice President of the Libyan Presidential Council, Mossa E.B. Elkony. Both leaders were received by Ethiopia’s Minister of Justice, Hanna Araya Selassie, alongside Ambassador Berhanu Tsegaye.
