MOGADISHU, Somalia Feb 11, 2015 (Garowe Online)-Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has jetted off to Germany for medical examination according to officials on Wednesday, Garowe Online reports.

Mohamud and his entourage including first lady and presidential officials departed at Adan Adde International airport for Turkey where he will make brief stop over prior to Germany trip.

The move marks the second medical check-up overseas since being elected to the top political job in September 2012.

In February 2014, Mohamud underwent baseline examination at Turkish hospital, spurring nationwide hoax.

Somalia President locked horns with Prime Minister Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed Mohamed in November, more recently followed by stiff opposition from MPs who refused to vote in favor of the country's newest cabinet.
