Abdi has addressed the rally at freedom park in the seaside city, where a huge crowd, wearing the party's colors has been waiting for him during the early hours of the day. He urged the people to vote for Kulmiye second term in office.
During his speech, Muse accused his rival aspirant from WADDANI party and former Somaliland's House of Representatives speaker, Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi "Irro" of against Berbera port project.
The Somaliland National Electoral Commission (NEC), Muslim clerics, traditional elders and outgoing Somaliland leaders warned the Presidential runners vying for the top seat against clan-based politics, which they said a threat to the region’s fragile democracy.
