The delegation was welcomed at the Airport by region’s officials, politicians and state parliamentarians, however, other delegates from regional administrations and diplomats are expected to arrive Jowhar town and  take part in the inauguration ceremony for the new President.

Last week Ali Abdulahi Osoble was elected as the new President of Somalia’s last federal member of states, which marked the conclusion of the most controversial and prolonged state formation conference for Hiiran and Middle Shabelle regions amid opposition of clan elders to the process.

Earlier, President Osoble has paid visit to Baladwayne town in Hiiran region, to shore up elders support for his administration, and claimed that he has convinced clan leaders to endorse the state building process.
