Man wanted for murder could be in Milton Keynes, say police
Abdi Ali, who is 30, has been wanted by Humberside police for the past two years, following a brutal murder in Cleethorpes.
Victim Shaun Lyall, 47, was dead in his bathroom with July 2018. He had been beaten and tortured and had 170 separate injuries, say police.
A court later convicted Grimsby man Craig Whittle of his murder and jailed him for life. But the court heard the murder was drug-related and Whittle and the victim were both helping in drug dealing with another man, Abdi Ali.
A police spokesman said after the case: "We are still looking for a second man in connection with Shaun Lyall’s murder - Abdi Ali."
Ali, originally from Somalia, has links to MK, they said. He has a distinctive gold front tooth and also uses the names 'Madman', 'Madders' or 'Gulaid'.
If you have any information about where he might be, contact Humberside police on 999 or 101 quoting log 517 of 17 July 2018. You can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 11.
A police spokesman said: "We advise you not to approach him and call us in the first instance."
He added: "A reward is on an offer of up £5,000 from the charity Crimestoppers for information leaving to Abdi Ali's arrest."
