The United States condemns the October 28 terrorist attack in Mogadishu. We extend our deepest condolences to the families and friends of those injured and killed, particularly the families of government and security officials who perished in the attack. We commend the response of Somali security forces, which detained some of the terrorists and saved dozens of lives.
