Somalia: Puntland Govt condemns Mandera Bus attack

GAROWE, Somalia Nov 24, 2014 (Garowe Online) –Puntland Government in northern Somalia has condemned a terrorist attack on a Nairobi-bound bus on Monday, Garowe Online reports.

Puntland leader Abdiweli Mohamed Ali has said in a press statement from his office that Saturday’s inhumane mass slaughter by Al Qaeda linked Al Shabaab group runs counter to Islamic principles and values.

Ali extended sincerest condolences to the families of victims being killed in the attack, and Kenyan people at large.

Federal Government of Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud and Prime Minister Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed Mohamed offered Kenya similar condolences on Saturday.

28 people, mainly teachers died in the terror attack near Somalia’s extreme southern border with Kenya.
