Somalia: Al Shabaab executes alleged Ethiopia spy

GALHARERI, Somalia, March 21, 2015 (Garowe Online)-Somalia’s Al Qaeda-linked Al Shabaab militants have executed alleged Ethiopian-AMISOM forces spy in Galgadud region town of Galhareri of central Somalia on Saturday, Garowe Online reports.

Ali Salad Majin, 20 was publicly executed in front of a crowd, with self-appointed Al Shabaab judge saying, he was convicted of being informant for Ethiopian troops.

“He confessed to handing over many Muslims to Ethiopian forces in El Bur,” Al Shabaab judge was quoted as saying by onlookers who refused to be named in print.

Continuing, he threatened they will never forgive anybody convicted of being spy for African Union troops in Somalia.

Al Shabaab terror group previously executed many accused of working for Somali National intelligence and Security Agency, African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) and the CIA.
