Somalia: Federal government welcomes Robow's defection

MOGADISHU, Somalia - The Federal government of Somalia said Tuesday its policy is to welcome those willing to renounce terrorists and want to join the peace process and Nation building, Garowe Online reports.

Hence, the government welcomes Mukhtar Robow's confirmation that he defected from Al shabaab, in a press conference that he made today in Mogadishu, according to a statement released by the Presidency.

In light of President Farmajo's pardon, the Federal government declares to receive anyone that goves up his or her twisted ideology of Al shabaab.

The government of Somalia thanked anyone who played role in the facilitation of the current discussion with Robow, in particular all segments of the society and the international friends and partners.
