Somalia: Mogadishu car bomb wounds two

MOGADISHU, Somalia, January 10, 2016 (Garowe Online)-At least two civilian bystanders have been reported wounded in car bomb blast in Mogadishu’s Shibis district on Sunday, Garowe Online reports.

Witnesses and security officials said, the bomb went off inside a car owned by aviation officer with Adan Adde International airport at Manapolyo junction.

The targeted officer has been identified as Jaarlas.

More details have not emerged of the car bombing, however security agencies are investigating the incident.

Al Shabaab is known for claiming responsibility for such attacks in volatile Mogadishu.
