Somalia PM grazes cabinet

MOGADISHU, Somalia, November 24, 2015 (Garowe Online)-Federal Government of Somalia’s Prime Minister, Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke has carried a minor shuffle that affected two ministries on Monday evening, Garowe Online reports.

In a decree issued by the Office of the Prime Minister, some cabinet members lost posts while new faces took over.

Two dockets—Commerce and Industry Ministry and Water and Electricity Ministry- have been affected in the reshuffle.

Abdirahman Abdi Osman has been assigned to Commerce, with Water and Electricity portfolios entrusted to Mohamed Hassan Adan (Shahiyow).

Somalia President, Hassan Sheikh Mohamed agreed to the changes in the cabinet.

The reshuffle has since been much anticipated.
