Somalia President in Abuja for Buhari inauguration

ABUJA, Nigeria, May 28, 2015(Garowe Online)-Federal Government of Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has reached Abuja for the inauguration of Nigeria’s newly-elected President Gen. Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, Garowe Online reports.

Nigerian officials received Mohamud and his delegation including Deputy Foreign Affairs and Investment Promotion Minister at Abuja airport.

Somalia President will join more than 50 African leaders at inaugural ceremony for President-elect Buhari on Friday.

Buhari competed against outgoing President Goodluck Jonathan in general elections held in March.

US secretary of State John Kerry is also expected to attend the inauguration of former military ruler from 183 to 1985.
