King, Crown Prince congratulate new President of Somalia

JEDDAH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has sent a cable of congratulations to President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on the occasion of winning the presidential elections and taking the oath as President of Somalia.

In his cable, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed his best felicitations to the President, wishing him every success and the people of the sisterly Somalia steady progress, security, and stability.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense has also sent a cable of congratulations to President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud on the occasion.

The Crown Prince felicitated the President, wishing him every success and the people of the sisterly Somalia steady progress, security, and stability.

Mohamud took the oath of office as the 10th president of the Republic of Somalia on Monday.
