Sakarie Nour Farah: Somali journalist makes history in Ireland.

Sakarie Nour Farah, a former Garowe Online journalist who now lives in Ireland, has begun airing the first Somali language program on Ireland's first multilingual community radio station, which serves marginalized populations.

Sakarie's inaugural program - Beyond Borders on the GoCom radio station will air in Galway, Ireland with people like him waiting very eagerly to hear their stories.

The weekly program, which will debut on Thursday at 3 pm, is designed to highlight the needs of Somalis in Ireland.

Sakarie is a competent and talented journalist who has received training from the BBC, Al Jazeera, TRT World, and OIC-Diplomacy.
