Saudi Crown Prince says Israel pushing U.S. toward war with Iran

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) accused Israel of trying to drag the United States into a direct conflict with Iran, warning that Israel’s actions threaten stability in the Middle East and risk triggering a wider military confrontation.

Speaking amid escalating tensions between Iran and Israel, MBS said the recent measures taken by Israel endanger regional peace and could lead to a broader conflict that would destabilize the already volatile region.

The two countries have exchanged a series of attacks and threats in recent years, raising fears that their long-standing hostility could erupt into full-scale war.

The Middle East remains a critical corridor for global oil exports, and any conflict could disrupt supplies and push up fuel prices worldwide.

International actors continue to call for de-escalation and dialogue to avoid further escalation and a potential large-scale war that would have devastating consequences for the Middle East region.
